With the Flow

We stress over each step,

Fearing the shadows of “what if.”

But what if the answer lies

In choosing what feels right,

Without the weight of overthinking,

Without befriending fear—

Just flowing with the gut?

A decision made with ease,

Without measuring loss unseen,

Is freedom in its simplest state.

For the mind loves to linger,

Weaving doubts in an empty space.

Recently,

When I left one road behind,

Another appeared so swiftly.

It felt like home—the people, the place.

I chose, without a second glance,

And found peace in that silent choice.

The tides will turn once more,

And it will not be about the road taken,

Or the road not taken.

It’s about the journey on either side—

A story to tell,

Some tears to shed,

Some smiles to spread.

Sometimes, the best way forward

Is to trust what feels right

And leave the rest behind,

Because, in time, everything aligns.
