Can’t Stop Smiling

I don’t know how I got so blessed,

But life has eased, and I feel at rest.

I left my job, the banker’s grind,

For a path unknown, a peace of mind.

I met someone who feels like home,

A partner with whom I’ll never roam alone.

For the first time, Dad did something for him—

Bought a car for comfort and joy within.

Mum and I have healed what was torn,

My brother’s growing, finding his form.

With bua and uncle, the bond runs so deep.

These little joys, my heart will keep.

My grandparents are healthy, come what may,

I love them all, more than words can say.

Life isn’t perfect, but it feels just right,

In this newfound calm, my soul takes flight.
